"One Soldier At A Time" is a project to support our hidden heroes. These are the women and men you don't hear much about. While their soldier is off protecting our country they are holding down the fort here at home. Trying to be both mom and dad. All the while in the back of their minds wondering and praying for their loved ones safe return home. We will always and forever do what we must do to keep things as "normal" for our children so it is the moms and the wives(dads and husbands) we focus on primarily.Knowing that they have our support means so much to them. They need to know they are thought of, prayed for and that they matter. This project allows them a small amount of comfort during a difficult time. They do not want this war anymore than you or I do. The fact remains that we are at war and we can all do something to stand in the gap for our military by supporting their families.
Every holiday we adopt their loved one and give them a beautiful gift and words of encouragement. This past Christmas we adopted 80 families (and growing) locally. Special thanks to Fellow Americans, local organizations, Henderson Ford of Webster, Vision Automotive Group, Second Baptist Church of Walworth and Wal-Mart for choosing to stand in the gap with us. We were able to adopt every family this holiday season.

We are entering our 8th Christmas and going into our 9th year of Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Hopefully this same time next year our sons and daughters will have all returned home. Until that time we will continue to stand in the gap, "One Soldier at a Time."
For those Veterans who have returned home but are suffering with P.T.S.D. or other side effects from the war who live in support homes we have observed the need for personal hygiene products and every day items of food, clothing and bedding. Sadly those who covered us while protecting our country are left unprotected when they return home. Providing these basic needs is the least we can do. We have currently partnered up with the Webster Lions Club,CDS Monarch,Webster Widows Sons,Knights of Columbus, Webster Women's Auxiliary, Momma Cindy and Wal-Mart to aide them in their journey back into society, the work place and to their families. x

Lastly, we have a project, Suncare for Soldiers where we send suncare packages overseas. Last year we sent almost 200 packages. In these packages besides suncare items are hand sanitizer, q-tips to clean ears 'n guns, baby wipes since many have no running water, candy, cards, paper...etc... these packages get sent out between July-September.
I hope this gives you a little insight into what we are doing. We need all types of support from sponsorship to hands on help with packaging, fundraising, delivering gifts and of course prayers. No one gets paid a penny. All monies go directly to support our military and their families Our Current Needs
We have a packing coming up and need these items. Donations may be left at the church or at the Town Hall. Thank you.
